Racing Greens has always been proud of the quality and variety of its breakfasts, and we get many excellent comments from delighted guests.

The EnjoyEngland have now recognised this by awarding us their Breakfast award – for exceeding their requirements for our 4 star rating.

Breakfasts are normally served between 8.00 and 9.00, and by agreeing a time with you; we ensure that you get personal attention, and that your selection is freshly cooked to order.

We will happily try to accommodate any special diets so do let us know of your dietary requirements in advance.

Guests are invited to help themselves from our Buffet of fruit juices, choice of cereals, fresh fruit dishes and yoghurts

We then follow with your choice of cooked breakfast. We have a daily menu of House-style omelettes; eggs (any style); or other traditional English breakfast ingredients.

We source local produce whenever we can.
Our favourite supplier is Bairds Farm Shop with its
fantastic range of award-winning produce.

For something different, we are happy to offer dishes such as Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and capers; kippers, smoked haddock or cod; eggs Benedict; or our Continental meat and cheese platter.

We do ask for 24 hours notice for these dishes. If you have a particular favourite, or if you have any special dietary requirements - please let us know when booking.

We serve a selection of varied bread and toast, including some of Alan's homemade specials. It's definitely not the average white slice!
