Attractions in Littlehampton
Many of our guests return to Racing Greens and Littlehampton with memories of their previous visits, and they enjoy making new ones.
From our great seafront location there are many things to do within easy reach, and as there are no hills in Littlehampton it is easy to get around.
We love to help guests discover and enjoy the best of what there is in the area.
Where to go and what to do.
Follow the promenade eastwards and see Littlehampton’s sandy beach; Longest Bench; Stage by the Sea; and East Beach Café. Continue on and enjoy the Miniature Railway in Norfolk Gardens; Mewsbrook Park, and the new Inspire Leisure centre.
To the west is the River Arun and our newly developed riverside walk with its leisure marina, fishing and diving boats. A small ferry goes across to the West bank where you can explore the sand dunes (an area of Special Natural Interest), Or you can take a gentle trip along the river to Arundel. There are opportunities to try kite surfing, fishing, diving, or sea angling.
Littlehampton’s Harbour Park – is a family friendly fun park with activities for children. There are a number of opportunities for fun with friends and family on one of our mini and crazy golf pitches along the promenade. Or fishing for crabs in the Oyster pond or along the river wall.
Littlehampton’s Lifeboat station is often open to display their rescue boats which do such good work along our coast (Racing Greens supports the Littlehampton RNLI volunteers).
A range of bars, tearooms, cafes and restaurants will tempt you and of course there are award winning "Fish & Chips". The iconic East Beach Cafe (designed by the world-renowned Thomas Heatherwick Studio) is close by. It is easy to wine and dine with no taxis or driving required and we love to recommend our favourite “eateries”.
There is always chance to mooch around our shops and if you like to hunt for antiques and collectables there are some excellent opportunities nearby.
